Early voting for the U.S. Presidential election will run from October 24-November 3 at Illinois State University.
The American Democracy Project (ADP) at Illinois State University is working to ensure students are easily able to register to vote and are informed about voting locations on campus.
ADP has developed a Redbird Voter Guide that gives times and location of early voting, as well as identification needed to vote.
“As an initiative that encourages civic and political engagement among students, ADP has worked to facilitate voter registration, voter engagement, and voting. The resources ADP has made available and the programs it has offered are designed to help students be engaged and informed citizens,” said Associate Professor of Politics and Government and ADP Co-chair Noha Shawki.
ADP encourages all students to register. Those uncertain if or where they are registered to vote, can check the State Board of Elections Registration Lookup.
For those living in Bloomington, times and locations can be found at the Bloomington Board of Election Commissioners site. For those living in the town of Normal or anywhere else in McLean County, find voter registration and early voting dates, times here.
