College Factual released their 2017 numbers, which USA Today uses for their annual College Guide. Illinois State University earned accolades for value and services for veterans.
The University was named 22nd in the nation for Best College for the Money, out of more than 1,200 schools across the country. Illinois State was also honored as one of the Best Colleges for Veterans, placing 58 out of more than 1,400 schools.
“At Illinois State University we work hard on providing an environment that will allow our veteran students to succeed,” said University Registrar Jess Ray. “Our plan is to continue to provide the resources that will help our veteran students’ future success, and meet their graduation and life goals.”
Director of Admissions Jeff Mavros said the designation of Best College for the Money is about understanding what value truly means.
“People know Illinois State is a great ‘bang for the buck,’ because of affordable costs,” said Mavros. “But more than that, we remain #RedbirdProud because Illinois State combines an excellent education, programs and services geared toward helping students find their path, and people who care about their success.”
