Garrett Belville
They were selected from a pool of over a dozen applicants from prestigious schools such as Illinois State University, University of Illinois- Champaign/Urbana and Bradley University.
Belville is graduating in December 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in construction management. Belville recently accepted a project engineer position with Holder Construction Company in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Last year, Belville was the Executive Board Historian and Media Officer for the Construction Management Student Association. He was also a member of the Department of Energy Race to Zero Competition Team.
Alan Avitia
Avitia, a junior construction management student, was on last year’s National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) Competition Team and is on the team that will compete in the NAHB Student Competition in January 2017 in Orlando, Florida. Alan was a member of the Associated Schools of Construction Region III Electrical Competition Team in October 2016. In the fall 2015 and spring 2016 semesters, Avitia was vice-president of the Construction Management Student Association and was the Academic Student Senator for the College of Applied Science and Technology at Illinois State University.
