Have you ever wanted to rock climb but were not sure how to get started? Campus Recreation has all the answers for you. New climbers can join the Adventure program for instruction on proper climbing skills and techniques for a less nerve-racking experience.

The workshop spans for three weeks and instruction will take place on March 31, April 7, and April 14 from 3-5 p.m. After completing the workshop, you will be prepared for the Devil’s Lake Climb and Hike Trip on April 21-23.  The training workshop is $15 for students/members and the deadline to register is March 31 at noon. The sessions will include belay instruction and other topics every climber needs to know.

“Learn how to rock climb and feel safe while doing so. The topics of instruction are versatile and a great way to be prepared in any situation,” said Andrew Morreale, Coordinator of Adventure Programs.
