Let’s eat! The Peoria Area Alumni Network is getting together to prep, cook, and indulge in a Mediterranean-style meal. The group will gather at The Cookery in Morton to learn tips and tricks for meal prep from chef Amanda Pyle.
The tasty meal for Redbirds will include the following:
- Falafel
- Hummus
- Homemade pita or naan
- Couscous or tabbouleh salad
- Moroccan kabobs
- Tsatziki sauce
- Banana mascarpone parfaits
When: 5:30–8:30 p.m. Thursday, August 10
Where: The Cookery, 2029 South Main Street, Morton
Cost: $55 per person
All the supplies are provided, including bottled water and aprons, but please feel free to bring your own beverages. When registering, be sure to indicate any special dietary restrictions. Register by August 7 online or by calling Alumni Relations at (309) 438-2586. Limited seating is available.
