With more than 21,000 Illinois State young alumni living in Chicagoland, imagine how much good can be done by giving back to the community. Now is the chance to team up with fellow Redbirds for a good cause, all while having fun on a Saturday morning.
The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation is looking for volunteers to support its inaugural PFF Walk on September 9. This event looks to unite the community and bring awareness to pulmonary fibrosis. Chicago Young Alumni Network volunteers are needed to assist with registration and T-shirt distribution.
When: 8–11 a.m., Saturday, September 9
Where: Lincoln Park, (right behind the zoo; northeast corner of North Cannon Drive and West LaSalle Drive)
Those interested in volunteering should register online by 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 6. Don’t forget to wear Redbird gear!
