The University High School Speech and Debate Team will host a trivia night and silent auction fundraiser, starting at 7 p.m. Friday, May 4, in the University High School large gym.
The cost for the event is $5 for students and $10 for adults. Registration is available online or at the door. All payments will be accepted at the door. Teams of 4-6 people are encouraged to have a team name and theme. Awards will be given for best table decorations and theme wear.
A silent auction and raffles will be held throughout the evening. Cash, checks, or credit cards will be accepted for silent auction items. The event will raise funds for U-High Speech and Debate Team members to travel to the NSDA National Tournament in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. in June.
