Ange Milner wants you to celebrate International Games Week!

The American Library Association (ALA) celebrates a variety of library events and programs throughout the year. These events help libraries of all types promote their services and create awareness of library issues. International Games Week, according to ALA, focuses on the social and recreational side of gaming. Playing card and board games at the library encourages patrons to interact with diverse peers, share their expertise and develop new strategies for gaming and learning.

Business and Economics Librarian Danielle Futoran Turos has coordinated Milner’s International Games Week celebrations. “My family loves games—board games, video games—because they are so much fun and they bring our friends together,” said Futoran Turos. “I’m so excited and grateful to bring ALA Games Week to Milner and share games with the ISU community.”
