On Friday, November 9, technology graduate student Yao Shi successfully defended his thesis, “Big Data and Sensor Network for Construction Material Testing.” The objective of his research is to design a reliable and accurate method to validate the test data of the strength developments of concrete specimens in early ages.
Yao Shi’s thesis committee consisted of Professor Klaus Schmidt, Associate Professor Pranshoo Solanki, and Professor Haiyan (Sally) Xie, thesis chair.
