The Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts at Illinois State University is excited to bring Saturday morning visual arts and drama classes online beginning this September. Classes will take place each Saturday from September 19 through October 17 and will be held online using Zoom and Google Drive.

Visual arts classes will be taught in nine different groups where students will participate based on their grade: K-2 from 9:30-10 a.m., grades 3-5 from 9:30-10:15 a.m., and grades 6-8 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Drama classes will be offered for grades K-1 from 10:30-11 a.m., grades 2-3 from 10:30 a.m.-11 a.m., and grades 4-6 from 10:45-11:15 a.m.

Registration is $25 per student. Register online.

Students enrolled in the visual arts class will creatively express thoughts and ideas using a variety of materials and processes while learning about art and artists from various countries and cultures. The registration fee for the visual arts class includes a materials kit.

Students enrolled in the drama class will develop skills in theatre through imagination, creativity, and exploration while using communication and collaboration abilities. Grow, create, and play while using techniques from storytelling, music, dance, and theatre.
