Red Alert, the official student section of Illinois State Athletics, has unveiled its new look for the 2020-2021 school year, including a new logo and limited edition retro T-shirt. If you are an active Red Alert member and have not yet picked up your shirt, you can do so at the Ticket Office, located in the north entrance of Redbird Arena, open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Not a member—no worries! There’s still time to join the most energetic and passionate student group in the Missouri Valley Conference. First-year students can sign up for a four-year plan for $100, providing them exclusive Red Alert access for the entirety of their time on campus. Perks of the Red Alert membership includes FREE admission to all ticketed events including football and men’s basketball games each year, a new Red Alert t-shirt each year, priority access to seating, and exclusive access to premium athletics mobile app content such as Red Alert Rewards and weekly Enter to Win giveaways.
Like much of the world, Red Alert has pivoted to focus on providing a unique digital experience so students can still get the most out of the best social activity on campus. The official Illinois State Athletics app will be releasing weekly enter to win giveaways, exclusively available to Red Alert members. Students have already won retro courtside seats from Redbird Arena and a physically distanced date with Reggie on the Quad. The app will also be introducing Trivia Thursday in which users can earn reward points for participating and for each answer they answer correctly. The trivia content will change weekly and rewards points earned can be redeemed for prizes.
To download the Illinois State University App, search “Illinois State Redbirds” in the App Store or Google Play Store. More information on rewards can be found in the app under the “Rewards” tab.
