Are you ready for Halloween? Even if Halloween may look a little different this year, the Alumni Association invites you to spend an evening with your friends and family learning to draw together under the direction of Sean Thornton ’00, one of our talented graphic designers in University Marketing and Communications at Illinois State.
From cats and pumpkins to vampires, we invite you to join us while Sean teaches some of the fundamentals of drawing in a fun, engaging, and family friendly environment. Sean will take you through a step-by-step tutorial of how to draw three different Halloween portraits utilizing supplies you already have around the house.
When: 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, October 27
Where: Join via Zoom on any mobile device or computer
This is a complimentary event but advance registration is required due to limited space. Please register online until October 27 or until capacity is reached.
Supplies needed: Strathmore Bristol 100lb smooth paper (can use copy paper or cardstock), HB lead tech pencil (can use any pencil), Faber-Castell PITT ink pen (can use any black ink pen), and any colors you would like to add! Sean will be focusing on pen and pencil.
