Join Milner Library for an evening of fun and games celebrating International Games Week on Thursday, November 11, from 7–10 p.m. on the library’s third floor. Bring friends (or make new ones) while taking a study break with games, snacks, and more. No prior registration is needed to attend. Participants can either bring their own games or enjoy one of the many that will be provided.
Games that will be available include:
- Apples to Apples
- Bananagrams
- Exploding Kitties
- Playing cards
- Puzzles
- Scattergories
- Sorry!
- Uno
- And more!
About International Games Week
International Games Week is a non-commercial, volunteer-run library initiative under the auspices of the American Library Association in partnership with the Australian Library and Information Association, Nordic Game Week, Finnish Game Week, and Associazione Italiana Biblioteche sponsored by a number of quality game publishers and distributors. International Games Week, previously known as National Games Day (2007) and National Games Week (2012), began in 2017 and is a valuable way for libraries and communities around the world to join together and engage in play.
