The Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) is now accepting nominations for the University’s annual Civic Engagement Awards. The awards celebrate Illinois State’s core value of civic engagement by recognizing individuals and organizations for their outstanding contributions to the cause.
Nominations are due by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2022.
“It’s a joy to recognize and celebrate students, faculty, staff, community partners, and RSOs/units for their outstanding contributions to our core value of civic engagement,” said Dr. Katy Strzepek, director of CCE.
“Social change work requires determination and courage, and taking time to acknowledge individuals across the institution and community for their efforts to advance civic engagement highlights the ways that enacting our institutional values can transform our society,” Strzepek said.
Nominations can be made online.
The categories for this year’s awards are as follows:
- RSO Award
