Illinois State University has established a teach out and transfer articulation agreement with Lincoln College. The agreement helps Lincoln College students who have been impacted by that school’s closure in early May.
Illinois State will work with students on financial aid packages and courses needed to complete their degrees. Under the agreement, Illinois State has 15 degree programs that articulate with Lincoln College, including interdisciplinary studies, criminal justice, entrepreneurship, communication studies, music, conservation biology, an MBA program, and others.
Illinois State staff recently attended graduate and undergraduate transfer fairs at Lincoln College. Illinois State has already received more than 40 undergraduate applications from Lincoln College students.
Illinois State welcomes about 2,000 transfer students to campus each year, and the University offers support services and guidance to ensure a seamless transition for those students. Illinois State University is among a select group of 171 universities across the country named to the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society’s 2022 Transfer Honor Roll, continuing the University’s reputation as a top destination for transfer students.
