Syllabus for Liberation Continues through National Poetry Month:
On the last day of Black Futures/Black History Month 2022, Obsidian announced the Syllabus for Liberation project. Juneteenth 1865, Black folk in Texas finally got word that slavery was abolished in the U.S. And now here we are… We are asking the questions: How might you imagine and construct a world where Black folks are liberated, healthy, and flourishing? How do you envision the future of thriving and not simply surviving? What’s on your Syllabus for Liberation? We are sharing responses on social media: #SyllabusforLiberation.
