Queer Coalition (QC), Illinois State University’s affinity group for LGBTQIA+ staff, graduate students, and faculty, will be holding brown bag chats twice monthly from noon to 1 p.m. in the Bone Student Center’s Faculty Staff Lounge through the end of the semester, then on the first Friday of the month over the summer.
Attendees may bring their lunch or just drop in to chat. This event series will have no set agenda, instead serving as a venue for folks to get together and be in community with each other during the work/school day. At least one member of the Queer Coalition Executive Board is projected to be on hand during each event to hand out swag and answer questions or receive feedback about QC.
This is a great, low-key entry point for those who are new to Illinois State or looking to become more involved in Queer Coalition to get to know some of their colleagues and classmates!
