Motorists traveling southbound on Interstate 55 may find themselves humming Illinois State University’s fight song after passing signage near the University Farm in Lexington. The signage was installed as a way to generate Redbird spirit for those traveling to campus or passing through Central Illinois. Illinois State is actively seeking more interstate-facing signage.
