Illinois State University band alumni are invited back to campus for alumni band events at Hancock Stadium, October 27-28, 2023.
“We are excited to build on last year’s event with a Friday night reception at the Aaron Leetch Stadium Club and an opportunity for our alums to march with the 2023 Big Red Marching Machine,” said Associate Director of Bands Mack Wood. “Our executive committee of ISU band alumni envision a significant and long-term alumni band organization. All band alumni are encouraged to take part in any and all activities.”
With a rehearsal prior at 6:30 p.m., the reception is set for Friday, October 27 from 8-10 p.m. in the Aaron Leetch Club at Hancock Stadium. There will be another rehearsal on Saturday morning at 7 a.m. before the Redbirds take on Northern Iowa at Hancock Stadium on Saturday, October 28 at noon.

Friday, October 27
6:30 p.m. Rehearse with select BRMM members, G82 Parking Lot
8:00 p.m. Reception, Aaron Leetch Club at Hancock Stadium
8:30 p.m. Brief program
10:00 p.m. Reception concludes
Saturday, October 28
7:00 a.m. Parking at G53
7:00 a.m. BRMM rehearsal begins
7:30 a.m. Enter at Gate 10, southeast corner of Hancock Stadium
8:00 a.m. Alumni join BRMM rehearsal
8:30 a.m. Rehearsal concludes
9:00 a.m. Tailgate in Lot G53 (look for BRMM Logo). Bring your own beverages, food, chair, etc.
11:00 a.m. Enjoy the BRMM Pep Rally at the Y (tunnel under Main Street and College Avenue)
11:15 a.m. Enter at Gate 10, southeast corner of Hancock Stadium and sit in section 108
11:45 a.m. Enjoy Pre-Game from the stands
Noon Kick-off (we play occasionally in the stands!)
1:15 p.m. Halftime on the field with the Big Red Marching Machine
Post game Alumni to join BRMM for the 5th Quarter (selected tunes)
Join BRMM as they block up and march back to Cook Hall for the Alma Mater
All alumni are invited to attend any and all events and are welcome to participate as much as you are able. For those who are unable to make the Friday night rehearsal, please know that it is not required in order to participate on Saturday.
