Dr. Megan Wickstrom visited ISU during the 2023 Homecoming. Wickstrom received her Ph.D. in 2014 from the ISU mathematics department. She is currently an associate professor of mathematics education at Montana State University. During her visit, Wickstrom delivered a talk “Empowering K–8 Teachers through Social Justice Mathematical Modeling: The Teacher Pay Task,” followed by a reception. The event was arranged by Dr. Tami Martin, a professor in mathematics.
