A data science competition, called OSF 30-Day Readmission, aims to create a predictive model to predict whether a patient discharged from OSF HealthCare will be readmitted within 30 days.
A readmission is when a patient is discharged from an inpatient visit and then returns to the hospital as an inpatient within 30 days. The competition is supported jointly by Illinois State University and OSF.
