Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts is excited to announce a special opportunity for Illinois State University alumni and friends to meet up at Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theatre and attend a performance of Little Bear Ridge Road, featuring Steppenwolf Ensemble member and Illinois State alum Laurie Metcalf on Sunday, June 30, 2024.
Little Bear Ridge Road, a world premiere, was written by MacArthur Fellow Samuel D. Hunter and directed by Tony Award winner Joe Mantello. It follows the story of the last two members of the Fernsby family, an estranged aunt and nephew, who reunite after the death of a family member.
The performance is at 3 p.m. followed by a post-show talk (cast and crew participants to be confirmed). Tickets are limited, and confirmations will be sent in the order that forms are received. Cost is $65 per person, limited to two tickets. A donation of $20 from each reservation will go to Friends of the Arts, which provides direct support to fine arts students through academic scholarships.
To register, submit the interest form no later than Friday, May 31.
Important information:
• After you register, you will receive an email from Stephanie Kohl Ringle either confirming your reservation or notifying you that you are on the wait list.
