The Office of the University Registrar is hosting a retirement open house honoring Pam Walden, associate registrar. Members of the Illinois State University community are invited to attend.

Walden is retiring after more than 32 years of service in the Office of the University Registrar at Illinois State.
Walden was involved in three major technology projects, including the initial online admissions application, student ID cards, and the Imagenow project. Her work was essential in bringing these new technologies to campus.
She was actively involved with Illinois Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (IACRAO) for over nine years in various positions, including the technology committee, membership committee, the website manager, and then the president. In addition, Walden taught Passages Technology QuickStart to incoming freshmen, coordinated the Transfer Day program, and was a mentor in the Women’s Mentoring Network.
