Employees should be aware of university closures and an early pay date of December 20. The University Payroll Office will be closed from 4:30 p.m. on December 20 through January 2, 2025, at 8 a.m.

 All employees are encouraged to enroll in direct deposit. To be effective for the December 20 payment date, enrollment must occur on or before December 10. Paper paychecks will be mailed to employees not enrolled in direct deposit. Those receiving paper paychecks should ensure their mailing address is up to date.  

To enroll in direct deposit:  

  1. Login to iPeople. 
  1. Select the direct deposit tile.
  1. Select the plus sign (+) located beneath accounts.  
  1. Select OK … to acknowledge your acceptance of the terms and conditions.  
  1. Enter the following information in the add account window:
    • Nickname–assign a name or description to your account.
    • Routing number–obtained from your check or by contacting your banking institution.
    • Account number–obtained from your check or by contacting your banking institution.
    • Retype Account Number–confirm account number.
    • Account Type–select checking or savings.
    • Deposit Type–select remaining balance if depositing into only one account. Select amount or percent to split deposit between multiple accounts. You are encouraged to select remaining balance on at least one entry. 
    • Amount or percent–use for multiple account entries.
  1. Select the save button.  

If you are not enrolled in direct deposit, confirm your mailing address by following the instructions from Human Resources. To be effective for the December 20 payment date, the mailing address must be in the system on or before December 10.
