Three Milner Library staff will present the World War I Illinois State Normal University Service Records collections to community members at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, through the Alumni Center.
The talk will focus on the stories of army men, airmen, nurses, and other volunteers affiliated with the University from 1917 through 1919. Digitization Coordinator Karmine Beecroft will discuss the digitization and transcription of the collections, while Metadata Librarian Emily Baldoni and Metadata Specialist Maddi Loiselle will discuss the curation, production, and beyond of the data collected from the files.
