Illinois State University’s Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts and the School of Music are excited to bring the sounds of the holidays to the Center for the Performing Arts in three concerts December 6 and 7.
On Saturday, December 6, at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., the Illinois State University Symphony Orchestra, Civic Chorale, and Treble Choir join forces to perform two concerts of holiday classics including selections from the Nutcracker, Sleigh Ride, and a carol sing-along. The 3 p.m. matinee will also feature students in the String Project. The 7 p.m. performance includes the ISU Philharmonia Orchestra.
On Sunday, December 7, at 3 p.m., 150 combined voices from Concert Choir, Belle Voix, and University Glee will present a heartwarming program of choral music with holiday songs from around the world, classic carol sing-alongs, and a stunning performance of John Rutter’s Gloria.
All concerts will take place in the Center for the Performing Arts (CPA) Concert Hall. Tickets are $20 for general admission, $16 for seniors, and $12 for Illinois State University students, faculty, and staff.

Visitor parking during business hours is available on a pre-pay basis in the South University Street parking garage, 450 South University Street. Visit the parking website for more information. Please be aware that, due to construction, the South University Street parking lot and garage is the closest availability parking. Free public parking is allowed in student commuter (green) or faculty/staff (red) surface parking lots weekdays after 7 p.m. and all-day Saturdays and Sundays. Visitors should exit the parking garage on the north end and use the sidewalk that runs along the State Farm Hall of Business and around the CVA rotunda for the CPA Concert Hall. Entrances to the Center for the Visual Arts are on the north-west (near the rotunda) and south-west sides of the building.
