Teaching can be tough—especially when you’re relatively new to the classroom and about the same age as your students. This can cause a lot of anxiety for newly minted graduate instructors.
The Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology (CTLT) can help these instructors cope and thrive. Graduate teaching assistants are welcome to join us for a special one-hour workshop on Friday, September 1, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Teaching Triage will provide a judgment-free zone where student teachers can ask their questions or pose problems. Experience graduate teaching assistants will be on hand to offer advice, tricks of the trade, and support.
No registration is required. All graduate instructors and teaching assistants are welcome. Teaching Triage will be held at CTLT’s facility at 301 South Main Street.
If you need a special accommodation to fully participate in this event, please contact the CTLT main desk at (309) 438-2542.
