Redbird fans who can’t make it to the games this season at Redbird Arena will have the chance to watch their favorite basketball teams on television several times during the 2012-13 season.
The Redbird men’s basketball team will be featured on ESPN2, ESPNU, and ESPN3, as part of a partnership with the Missouri Valley Conference. Additionally, two Redbird women’s basketball games are scheduled to air on ESPN3.
At least three Illinois State men’s basketball games and one Redbird women’s basketball game will be broadcast on the Missouri Valley Conference Television Network. Games on the Valley Network will air on Comcast SportsNet Chicago, ESPN3, Fox Sports Midwest, Fox Sports Indiana, Fox Sports Kansas City and Fox College Sports. Niles Media Group of Kansas City will serve as the production company.
