Many Illinois State University employees, former employees and retirees journeyed to Milwaukee, Wis., to celebrate alumna and former colleague Linda Timm’s inauguration as Mount Mary College’s 10th president.
Timm served as the director of the Student Judicial Office at Illinois State University before leaving to become vice president of Student Affairs at Saint Mary’s College in Indiana. She started her presidency at Mount Mary College last July, and the inauguration ceremony and festivities were held on Sept. 13 and 14 of this year. Timm earned a bachelor’s degree in communication in 1972 and a master’s degree in 1979 and doctorate in 1994, both in educational administration.
