Due to ongoing repairs resulting from a recent power outage, classes in Julian Hall will be relocated on Wednesday and Thursday, October 30-31.
Facilities staff and electricians are awaiting the arrival of specialized electrical equipment for the needed repairs. A back-up generator is in place to maintain data center operations during the outage. The Technology Support Center also continues to operate.
Students with advising appointments with advisors in Julian Hall or those with questions can continue to go to the third floor Atrium of the Science Lab Building where a temporary space for information has been established. Employees who work in Julian Hall will receive updated instructions from their supervisors.
A recent power outage impacted several buildings on campus, including Julian Hall, Milner Library, Student Services Building, and the Science Laboratory Building. Electricians were able to restore power to all buildings except Julian Hall. During the repairs, staff found equipment that needed to be replaced.
