Elizabeth Binning, director of the Illinois Small Business Development Center at Illinois State, was recently certified as a Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) by the North American Small Business International Trade Educators (NASBITE).
The NASBITE CGBP provides a benchmark for competency in global commerce. The CGBP designation demonstrates an individual’s ability to conduct global business, including global business management, global marketing, supply chain management, and trade finance. To receive the NASBITE CGBP designation, a candidate must pass the CGBP exam and have two years of global commerce experience.
Binning has been director of the local Small Business Development Center at Illinois State since it opened in 2005.
