Everyone is invited to take part in “Menstrual March,” an event designed to bring reusable sustainable menstrual gear to the ISU community free of charge to menstruators. Funded by ISU’s Office of Sustainability and organized by graduate students in the Department of English, Charley Koenig, Alexis Adams, Natalie Jipson, Emily Fontenot, and Alice Vermillion, the event aims to decrease waste created by one-use menstrual products while making it possible for menstruators of all genders at ISU to gain access to menstrual cups and menstrual undergarments. If you are interested in receiving your free menstrual cup and/or menstrual underwear, please go to this Eventbrite page and select the product and size you want as well as the pickup date. Items will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The options include menstrual cups and menstrual undergarments or one of each. Menstrual cups are from Me Luna in a variety of sizes (S, M, L, XL) and styles (classic and sport). Menstrual undergarments are available in the following styles and sizes: hipster style (XS/S, S/M, M/L, L/XL, XL, 2XL, and 3XL) from Ruby Love, underwear bikini style (XS/S, S/M, M/L, L/XL, XL, 2XL, and 3XL) from Ruby Love, boyshort style (XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL) from ModiBodi, and dream short style (S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL) from Knix.
