Your gift to International House can make a WORLD of difference to a student facing unexpected hardships. Magda Drici ’13 knows this firsthand. As an undergraduate, Drici worked in the Office of International Studies and Programs (OISP), supporting the Management Development International unit, International House, International Student Orientation, and volunteering for I-Fair. Family tragedy nearly derailed Drici’s college career, however.
“The I-House scholarships were the only reason why I was able to continue my education after I experienced severe financial hardship upon the passing of my parents,” Drici said. “I am forever grateful to OISP and I-House for the amazing support system they offer for International students. I found with them, a home away from home.”
Drici was able to complete her degree in four years and is now pursuing her MBA part-time while working as an administrative and events coordinator for the International Business and Strategy Group at Northeastern University D’Amore McKim School of Business.
