Milner Library is excited to announce that its newest topical library guide on LGBTQIA+ resources is now available — fittingly launched during Pride Month. Milner Library uses guides to curate resources and provide information about navigating library databases for subjects all in one place. Last year, Milner created a guide focusing on systemic racism resources, viewed over 8,500 times during the academic year. The LGBTQIA+ guide builds on this successful example, expanding the library’s offerings.
The LGBTQIA+ guide organizes content provided by Milner Library by material type. The guide is open to all for viewing, but some resources will be accessible only to ISU-credentialed patrons/users. Beyond library resources, the guide also includes information and links to resources available on campus and in the broader community.
Just as LGBTQIA+ topics expand over time, this guide will continue to grow and be updated. The campus community is encouraged to send recommendations for the guide through a feedback form available on the guide. Please use the form located on the guide homepage to share any input or suggestions related to the guide.
