The Illinois State Athletics Department and the WJBC COUNTRY Financial Redbird Radio Network are ready to keep you connected to the baseball and softball action this spring through Internet and radio broadcasts.
The upcoming season marks the beginning of a partnership with the Miller Media Group to air 20 baseball games and 16 softball games live on the radio. There will be 31 games broadcast on WEZC 95.9 FM, while five games will air on WHOW 1520 AM/ 92.3 FM. Both stations can be heard throughout Central Illinois.
Live play-by-play of the entire Redbird baseball and softball schedule will also be broadcast through a service provided by AudioNow. Fans can tune in at GoRedbirds.com and WJBC.com, or via cellular or landline phone. Just call (309) 319-9426 for baseball and (309) 319-9425 for softball. Live video streaming of all home baseball and softball games can also be viewed via Redbird All-Access, ISU’s premium content site.
The first opportunity to hear Illinois State baseball live on WEZC 95.9 will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 19. The Redbirds will play Belmont in a double-header. The first Redbird softball broadcast will air February 20 on WHOW 1520 AM / 92.3 FM, when ISU takes on Idaho State at the Littlewood Classic in Tempe, Arizona.
