The Illinois State softball team welcomes back veterans of its program for Alumni Day on Saturday, April 27, when the Redbirds battle Northern Iowa in a double-header. Game 1 is slated to begin at noon, with Game 2 scheduled for 2 p.m.
To start off the day, an alumni tailgate will be held in the parking lot located between Marian Kneer Softball Stadium and Adelaide Street Field at 10:45 a.m. Fifteen minutes prior to the start of Game 1, an on-field recognition will take place for all alumni in attendance. After the first game commences, special recognition will take place on-field honoring the members of the 1976 NCAA College World Series team.
Then to round out the day, all alumni are encouraged to attend an alumni reception at Pub II.
