The Illinois State Athletics Department will help “Paint the Arena Pink” for the October 23 home volleyball match against Wichita State at Redbird Arena. In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, fans are encouraged to wear pink. Complimentary pink ribbons will be available at each arena entrance courtesy of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority.
Admission to the match will be just $1, with $1 hot dogs and pink lemonade sold. An information display provided by Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Community Cancer Center, and Zeta Tau Alpha will be available near the north entrance of Redbird Arena. The Alamo II will be selling official Illinois State Athletics pink T-shirts in honor of the event.
