Help Illinois State University recognize exceptional support for technology on behalf of students or faculty. Nominations are now open for the 2024 Williams Outstanding Technology Service Award.
Qualified nominees must be full-time administrative professional or civil service employees with at least four years of experience at Illinois State. They must demonstrate “outstanding service in a computer or technology support position to learning, teaching, research, and creative activities in any area of Illinois State University that has a direct impact on scholarly activities of students and/or faculty.”
Nominations, which include a nominating letter and two additional letters of support, are due by Friday, December 1 at 4:30 p.m.
The winner of the award will be honored at the 2024 University Teaching & Learning Symposium on January 10.
The Williams Outstanding Technology Service Award was established in 2001 by David B. and Kay O. Williams to recognize an individual who has made extraordinary contributions to the University in the area of technology and service, in keeping with Dr. Williams’ commitment to building a “technology-friendly campus” in support of learning, teaching, research, and creative activities at Illinois State University.
