AsiaConnect will hold its annual Welcome Back Party at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13, in the Atrium-Courtyard of the State Farm Hall of Business. All faculty and staff are invited.
The event will welcome new faculty and staff of Asian heritage, as well as AsiaConnect members and friends. Party-goers will enjoy Asian cuisine along with networking and games. Participants must RSVP online.
There will also be the first of the monthly potluck meetings at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, in Room 551 of DeGarmo Hall.
The monthly potluck provides a chance for food, fellowship and cultural education. AsiaConnect is a campus affinity group established to represent the interests, needs and concerns of Asian faculty and staff, and to promote Asian cultures in the campus community and beyond.
