As part of GradBird Appreciation Week, the Graduate School is excited to host a t-shirt design competition where students will be able to bring their creations to life. We will be accepting submissions from March 1–15, and voting will take place from March 20–27. The winning design will be available on apparel in the Graduate School’s online store from April 7–12.
Submissions for the shirt design competition must meet the following requirements:
- The design must be a solid white color with a transparent background.
- The design may not include either the Reggie Redbird icon or the seal of Illinois State University Graduate School. However, references to GradBirds, Illinois State, or graduate students are acceptable and encouraged.
- The design submission must be in a vector file format (.ai or .svg) where the file can be scaled, edited, and resized to various proportions.
- By submitting a design, you give permission for the Graduate School to use the design on apparel and make necessary changes (such as thickening small lines to ensure they don’t bleed) for quality production.
Submissions meeting these criteria will be entered into a public poll for graduate students to pick their favorite design. The winning submission will receive the finished product of their design, a spotlight on the Graduate School platforms, and a Redbird Spirit Shop gift basket.
