Illinois State University band alumni from all eras of the Illinois State band program are invited back to campus for Alumni Band events at Hancock Stadium, November 1-2, 2024.
Friday, November 1
Rehearsal will be followed by a reception at the Aaron Leetch Club that includes appetizers and a cash bar.
- 6 p.m.: Rehearsal with select Big Red Marching Machine (BRMM) members
- 7:30 p.m.: Reception at Aaron Leetch Club at Hancock Stadium. Tickets are $10 per person.
Saturday, November 2
For the game day activities on Saturday, there will be a rehearsal in the morning with the Big Red Marching Machine. The Alumni Band will perform in the stands and during halftime with BRMM.
- 7 a.m.: Parking opens for tailgating (parking passes are $10 for lot G53)
- 8:30 a.m.: Rehearsal with BRMM
- Pre-game: Big Red Marching Machine ($10 game ticket required in the section next to BRMM)
- Halftime: Performance on the field
- Postgame: Alumni will join the BRMM for the fifth quarter.
- After the game: Join BRMM as they block up and march back to Cook Hall for the alma mater.
For those who are unable to make the Friday night rehearsal, please know that it is not required in order to participate on Saturday. The purchase of all or any of the combination of the options above is possible to fit individual availability.
