The American Democracy Project will screen the documentary Inequality for All, with a special, live webcast discussion with the film’s narrator, former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich.
The screening will be at 4 p.m. Thursday Feb. 20, in Center for Performing Arts, room 151. The event is free and open to the public. The film’s narrator, Robert Reich, will take part in a nationwide webcast and discussion immediately following the screening.
An award winner at the Sundance Film Festival, Inequality for All, explores how the United States has the most unequal distribution of income of all developed nations.
Reich served as secretary of labor under President Bill Clinton, and worked in the Carter Administration. Now a professor of public policy at the University of California at Berkeley and senior fellow at the Blum Center for Developing Economies, he is the author of 13 books, including the best sellers Aftershock and The Work of Nations.
Declared by Time Magazine as one of the 10 most effective cabinet secretaries of the 20th century, he is also a founding editor of the American Prospect magazine and chairman of Common Cause.
