Illinois State University College of Fine Arts students sold glass cups they created using a mold on March 6 in front of University Galleries in the Center for the Visual Arts.
Among the artists was Friends of the Arts grant recipient Percy Echols II. The senior B.F.A. student attended a class at the Pilchuck Glass School last summer and brought back a production style that has been incorporated into the studio glass curriculum and was used to make the cups for the sale.
