The College of Applied Science and Technology is continuing the scholarship program to encourage professional practice opportunities for high-achieving students who wish to complete their internship with an executive, legislative, or judicial agency or organization in Washington, D.C. Applications for summer 2015 are now available.
This program allows students to live in Washington, D.C., for a summer to intern with government agencies such as the Food and Drug Administration, National Archives, and Homeland Security, among others. Although the internship is unpaid, students can earn credit toward graduation, plus gain work and life experiences they cannot get anywhere else.
The deadline for applications is December 3, 2014. Contact Kara Pool Snyder at (309) 438-3986 or kepool@IllinoisState.edu with any questions.
