The Dean of Students Office helps students find their way along their journey at Illinois State.
Our mission is to engage students in developing a greater understanding of their self and the world around them and advocate for students individually and collectively, while challenging students to be responsible campus and community citizens. We accomplish this by collaboratively developing inclusive, responsive, and holistic programs and services. Our vision is to challenge and encourage students to make the most out of their Illinois State University experience.
There are several units of the Dean of Students Office that work to create these programs and services:
• Diversity Advocacy
• Fraternity and Sorority Life
• Graduation Services
• Leadership and Community Connections
• Parent and Family Services
• Student Activities and Involvement
• Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution
• Students’ Attorney
Staff from these units are readily available to assist students whether they are looking to get involved on campus or need additional help and support.
