Illinois State University will hold the 2015 Actuarial Research Event at 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, in the State Farm Hall of Business, room 366. Tom Terry, the immediate past president of the American Academy of Actuaries, will speak about the actuarial profession and professionalism issues in general. This event is free and open to the public.
Terry is a founder and CEO of The Terry Group consulting firm. He is a fully credentialed actuary and an active leader in the actuarial profession in the United States and abroad. He had previously served as CEO of JPMorgan Compensation and Benefits Strategies, CEO of CCA Strategies and has worked in various consulting leadership roles at Towers Perrin.
