The Illinois State football team opens the season Saturday with a 1 p.m. home game against Dayton.
The STATEside crew, with help from the Dr. JoAnn Rayfield Archives at Illinois State University, pulled some historic shots of Redbird fans over the years at Hancock Stadium. The fashions may have changed — there are a lot of sweet-looking sweaters in the crowd — but Redbird love is timeless.
