(October 5, 2006) The goal of the Urban Teacher Preparation initiative is to prepare highly qualified teachers for urban schools by changing teacher preparation programming for traditional students. Membership on the steering committee is open to anyone interested in this work. The next meeting is Tuesday, October 17, 2006, 12:00 to 3:00 p.m., in the TEC conference room. If you would like to have a lunch provided during the meeting, please respond to Jennifer Eddy by October 13.
