Faculty and staff are invited to attend the Cultural Alumni Panel dinner from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, March 21, in the Bone Student Center Old Main Room.
The alumni panelists, Axel Jimenez ’08, David Im ’99, Phantasia Terrell ’00 and Seneste Davis ’10, will present My Life, My Story, My Success. The alumni will discuss obstacles they overcame to graduate, identify who helped support them on campus and provide advice for current students. Live entertainment will be provided by Jessica Guerrero and the Iota Phi Theta fraternity.
The event is being hosted by the newest registered student organization at Illinois State University, Los LOBOS, as well as ALAS, A Trend to Follow, Sigma Lambda Beta sorority and Sigma Lambda Beta fraternity. Los LOBOS aims to help underrepresented college students succeed in all aspects of being a student on-campus by building relationships, engaging in community outreach and promoting positive coping strategies for academic and social success.
