Students’ loan default rate much lower than national average
Three years after they started paying back their loans, only 3 percent of Illinois State University students defaulted, a rate significantly lower than the 14.4 Illinois average and the 13.4 percent nationwide average.

American Democracy Project to host presidential debate series
Illinois State University’s American Democracy Project will host a screening of the first presidential debate in Schroeder 130 on Wednesday, October 3, from 7-10:30 p.m. The debate between President Barack Obama and Republican nominee Mitt Romney will focus on the future of domestic policy.
Festival of India on the Quad set for September 29
It will be an afternoon filled with the rich culture of India. The Festival of India will be 2:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, on the Illinois State University Quad. The event is free and open to the public.
